Matamba Immersiv Incubator seeks 3 Zimbabwean female artists for a new media incubation program. Supported by the EU and Culture Fund, the program will train artists in XR/VR/AR, connect them with experts, and support their immersive artworks. The goal is to increase women’s representation in new media creation  platforms.

Matamba Film Labs and Dorovee Hub collaborated on a stop-motion short film, Dear Chisomo, funded by Hivos. The film explores life and healing after Cyclone Freddy, featuring young women from Zimbabwe with new media skills and Dorovee’s handcrafting expertise. The film is 100% handmade and aims to create social change.
